Insulin Timer
From time to another one may have doubts about the time passed since the last injection performed.
We have therefore developed the DUKADA Trio timer, which is an Insulin Timer for the insulin pens NovoFlex Pen and Sanofi Solostar:
Simple – A retrievable indication of the time since the last injection of insulin
Practical – Based on LEDs, also visible in the dark
Discreet – You decide when to see the time information, no permanent display.
Check our video below:
Needle Light
You might have tried to take your insulin in low-lit places. Our user surveys (2013 and 2014) indicate that 50 % of users of insulin pens regularly have problems with injections in reduced light.
The DUKADA Trio Needle Light makes it easier to take insulin when light is reduced.

Sunlight, storage of insulin
Read here what our UK distributor (www.diabetes.co.uk) writes about the storage and safety of insulin:
- Never store insulin at very cold or very hot temperatures as extreme temperatures destroy insulin.
- Do not put your insulin in the freezer or in direct sunlight.
With different wordings, all insulin producers advise users of insulin pens to put the pen cap on your pen after each use to protect the insulin from light. These recommendations are not changed by the usage of DUKADA Trio.
DUKADA Trio is unique also in the sense that it does not add length to the insulin pen and the extra width added to the pen is minimal. It is, therefore, possible to store your insulin pen in most cooling or travel wallets on the market also when the DUKADA timer is attached to the insulin pen.
The DUKADA Trio divisible Cap protects the insulin container better against light during injections.
Whereas the original caps are entirely removed from the insulin pen during injections, the Main Part of the DUKADA Trio Cap stays on the pen during these.
Since the main part of the DUKADA covers most of the insulin container, the DUKADA Cap protects the insulin container better from UV-Light during injections than the original pen caps.
